Ree Drummond Ree Drummond, an American food blogger and author who is also a TV presenter, has been a writer for television from 2005. Most well-known for her The Pioneer Woman blog, she is a published author from America and blogger. She lives on a ranch located in Oklahoma. She writes about her experiences being a mother and wife at the ranch. She's won an award called the Weblog of the Year Award in 2009, 2010 and in 2011. Her parents are from Bartlesville Oklahoma and she was born and raised in the area. In the college level, she was studying journalism as well as gerontology. In 2006 she started her online blog pioneerwoman.typepad.com and later changed the name to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman and finally to The Pioneer Woman. Confessions of a Pioneer Woman is the name of a segment on the site that has enjoyed lots of success. It has been hailed by numerous magazines for its content concepts, thoughts, and top quality images. In her blog, she also posts visually stunning recipes for food. In 2011 she started her own TV show titled The Pioneer Woman which is continuing to air on The Food Network. The majority of her cookbooks contain recipes. Columbia Pictures is turning her book Black Heels & Tractor Wheels into film.
