Growing Days fit perfectly. My precious Nora was born in 2013, which was our fourth baby. While I was pleased about the direction my company went, I was feeling like I had to take some time off. I took a break from creating vintage furniture and slowed down my pace to be at home to raise the children. It was time. It wasn't until a couple of months when the phones began to be ringing. A lot of people contacted me for help regarding home improvements and decor. The majority of them were the ones who had strolled through my property during open house for furniture! It wasn't long before I managed a large-scale house renovation business. The first step was to take clients on one in a manner that I could be confident in. If you had told me that my venture would end up being an idea for the DIY Network show, I likely would have thought you were crazy. When I look back, it makes me smile.
