Abbie Cornish was born on 7 August 1982 in Australia, is an actress. Cornish is best known for her films roles, including Heidi in Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and for her collaboration with filmmaker Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) as well as Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish earned the first Screen Actors Guild Award with the film she starred in. Gilpin kept securing TV guest appearances over the next few years until she was able to get her first break in 2013 when she was offered the role of a regular in the show Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was the lead character on Nurse Jackie as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes until Nurse Jackie was pulled in June. Gilpin made her debut on True Story, a mystery thriller.
